A Novel Defense

On the heels of Hillary's Iowa come-uppance, her former campaign finance colleague went to court in California.

Hsu's lawyers had asked Judge Stephen Hall to dismiss his 1992 no- contest plea, arguing that Hsu's right to a speedy trial was violated because authorities were not actively pursuing him during his years as a fugitive. They could easily have arrested Hsu, his lawyers argued, at one of the fundraisers he hosted in California for prominent local politicians.

Happier Times

Almost makes me nostalgic for the 90's. So much entertainment then from the Clinton administration. You couldn't write that stuff, no one would believe it. Hillary better put the wheels back on her bus toot sweet.

I bet Hsu deliberately took a moderately heavy dose of pills on that train in Colorado just to get himself into custody. I was wondering at the time why the Clintonistas were letting him roam like a free range chicken. I suspect they had consultants looking for him.
